Alright little darling, you’ve got my attention.
Alright little darling, so now you’ve got my attention
Like an eager scientist, a first brilliant invention
Jumping up and yelling out, “Hey! Holy Eureka!”
Until a chef laughs aloud, “Relax, it’s just paprika.”
Competing in rat races, looking for love under rocks
Searching online, losing faith, like penny stocks
Hope for the next one, have some thing funny to say
But ready for the same story, another wet rainy day
Seems like too many whiners with long lists of reasons
Why their s**** don’t stink, only their game’s in season
If they stopped bobbing around with such inflated heads
The world wouldn’t have so many cold, empty beds
So why then, you ask? Should I keep your attention?
If I had to give you a reason, would I not be pretentious?
Instead I say save it, for the birds, flowers and bees
Let’s find each other walking, among tall lovely trees
